| Looking at some cooler, windy weather out there for the remainder of the week as troughing returns to the West Coast. This will bring an increasing onshore flow for gusty west winds as temperatures drop from 10 degrees above normal to nearly 10 degrees below normal by Thursday. There is even a slight chance for a few light showers, mainly across our coastal and valleys areas from a thick marine layer. Expect sunny skies today with highs cooling to the mid 50's, west to southwest winds gusting 15-25 mph. Clear and breezy tonight as lows drop down around the freezing mark. Continued cool and windy tomorrow with a high near 50°, west winds gusting to around 30 mph at times. Expect partly cloudy skies on Friday as weak low pressure moves through the region. Watch out for patchy dense fog on the lower coastal slopes if you are headed on/off the mountain. This trough will slide east on Saturday making way for building high pressure on Sunday leading to a return of fair and warmer spring weather through next week.
